Another Goddess Yoga was built on the desire to help others reach their highest potential by supporting growth in any areas where guidance is needed – mind, body or soul. The world will be a better place as more are inspired to become Another Goddess – there is always room for more goddesses on this beautiful planet.
About Me: Passionate about health and wellness since my late teens, I discovered increased energy through holistic self care and an active lifestyle. Challenged by asthma, hypothyroidism from a young age and suggested ovarian cancer; finding yoga was monumental to an improved lifestyle. As an integral part of my life, I feel that yoga keeps the sluggishness of hypothyroidism at bay and love the rejuvenating nature of the practice – for mind, body and soul. Optimal health and finding answers to dis- ease in the body became such a passion for me that I decided to pursue a pharmaceutical career to expand my knowledge base. After years of study, I now hold a Doctorate of Pharmacy from Northeastern University in Boston, MA and have many years of experience at various top ranked hospitals across the nation.
I have been practicing yoga for over 15 years; completing my yoga teacher training at the Spirit of Yoga under the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts. A teacher at heart, I enjoy sharing my diverse knowledge – including teaching others how to snowboard for the past ten years. Always an adventure seeker and intrigued by life abroad, I ventured to Bali to complete my advanced yoga teacher training (500 RYT) with Dashama Gordon Konah of the Pranashama Institute. I love the invigorating fast pace and challenge of morning vinyasa flow classes balanced with an evening ritual of calming yin or restorative yoga.
A beautiful soul with much to share, I enjoy connecting with other yogis to create new classes, workshops and retreats. Currently I enjoy serving my local community by teaching and plan to expand my influence abroad. My travels have led me to twenty-five countries as well as much of the United States. An entrepreneur, teacher and avid student of all that is life, I am incredibly grateful for my experience thus far and being able to share with the yoga community.
